My daughter's first day of high school, freshman year, while she was eating lunch with her friends, she noticed a girl eating alone. She approached her and asked her to join them. She did. Turns out she had just moved in to the area and didn't know anyone yet. That simple act, made a huge difference in that young girl's first day in a new school. The following Christmas, my daughter received a very sweet card from her telling my daughter how much her kindness that first day meant to her. Simple acts can change lives. I'm very proud of my daughter's sweet spirit.
